Using state-of-the-art filling equipment and high-speed bag and bottle fabrication machines we can deliver terminally sterilized injectable, oral, dialysis (lactate or bicarbonate based), inhalable, irrigation, intravenous and ophthalmic solutions in the container of your choice. In addition to bags and bottles, we can also fill vials, ampoules and cartridges with your formulations.
The Story of the PiSA Logo
PiSA is short for Productos Infantiles S.A. or Children’s Products LLC. The company was originally founded in 1945 to manufacture medicines specifically for pediatric care. At that time, doctors would prescribe medications as a fraction of a pill which made it very difficult to control dosing. Recognizing the need to ensure safe dosing to babies and children, Don Miguel Alvarez Ochoa started PiSA by manufacturing ten Productos Infantiles (children’s products). If you look at the “i” in the PiSA logo, you may see a sitting baby with the slightly tilted dot representing the baby’s head and the rest of the stylized “i” representing the baby’s body with outstretched arms and legs.
The PiSA tradition of identifying and satisfying market needs continues today with the manufacture of more than 1,500 products in 14 plants.
