Plasticos y Materias Primas, S.A. de C.V. (PyMPSA). A Grupo PiSA Company
PyMPSA is the award winning plastics manufacturing member of the Grupo PiSA and a significant resource for PiSA BioPharm. Their 40,000 m² manufacturing plant located in Guadalajara Mexico is an FDA registered facility for medical devices and we are very proud to recognize their receipt of the Shingo Silver Medallion for Operational Excellence in April 2015 (see the press release at here). PyMPSA produces over 780 million units of product per year including bags for IV and dialysis solutions (dual chamber), bottles, bottle caps, IV tubing, transfer sets, casings, hangers, IV caps and much, much more.
PiSA Farmaceutica
PiSA Farmaceutica operates one of the largest facilities in the Grupo PiSA. At 172,000 m², Farmaceutica’s Tlajomulco plant produces over 2.5 billion units per year including terminally sterilized injectable, oral, dialysis (lactate or bicarbonate based), inhalable, irrigation, intravenous, ophthalmic and electrolytic hydration solutions.
In recognition of PiSA Farmaceutica’s corporate social responsibility in Latin America, the CEMEFI (Mexican Center for Philanthropy) awarded Farmaceutica the prestigious Empresa Socialmente Responsable (Socially Responsible Company) designation in 2010.
